Nice group, what distance were you shooting?
Just 7 yards on that pic. I'd like to say it got better as I shot more but that wasn't the case.

Just spent my evening cutting up $1000+ handguns , by no means within my comfort zone or area of expertise

Installing Crimson Trace grips which lead to ambi safety issues, which lead to disassembly then some cutting and grinding then polishing and psuedo refinishing then some more polishing of other components

So did this owner but apparently there are 2 different styles and sadly, these were not them. A stubby ambi safety should work but this pistol was equipped from the factory with long length ambi safeties so, the decision was made to cut it and hope for the best lmao lucky meDang. I thought the CT grips came clearanced for ambi safeties?

Moto-tool with large abrasive cutting disc chocked into bench vice. Taped the save area off then cut 2 45°angles into it from opposing sides. Swapped disc for sanding/grinding stone and rounded off the cut area. Then a smaller one to semi bevel the edges and finished with small wire wheel to blend and smooth. Polished it all up then darkened with Sharpie and refinished with blueing pen. Once dried oiled and Lubed and whaa-laa what you see is the end result.Nice work..... what tool did you use to do the cutting?
