Today, I had the best time, I've EVER had at a match.
2-Gun is sooo badass! Running a red dot out to 300-ish is challenging, but so much fun.

That's awesome. Is that the furthest you've shot suppressed?
Do you get a lot of drop at that distance with the can?

It's the furthest I've ever shot, ever. I sighted in at 100, and had only ever shot it out to 135. Shooting rather speedy Federal 5.56 55 grain, I had no holdover whatsoever, completely and absolutely flat. As long as I had a stable position and I could actually see the target (which was the biggest challenge) I was nailing them with impunity.

That's great. I've got a virgin receiver. Might need to make it a blackout.

EDIT: though you were referring to your blackout rifle.
    Really impressive with a 5.56

Yeah, 300 would've been much tougher ballistically, nearly impossible with a red dot given the trajectory, and MUCH more expensive to shoot. I reserve that for hunting (maybe someday) and quick close range side matches.

Is it built into the camera or the monitor?
Cool idea though. What exactly is the purpose of what your using it for?

I have no idea. It's not a huge deal, but I'd turn it off if I could.

I'm using it to see the powder level in every case.

If you could move the red line to where it was super imposed inside the open case mouth you could actually judge powder levels with a line marker on screen. Just set the line slightly above the powder level.

I thought about that, but I prefer a clean view into the case. I feel like the line would block too much.

I love ordering from companies like Precision Delta and Shooters Connection because they both ship within hours. Ordered some parts from Shooters Connection this weekend, they shipped this morning and I'll probably have them Wednesday. I ordered 4K bullets from Precision Delta this morning and they'll be here tomorrow.

Today, I discovered that the Geissele G2S is good to go. This is their budget 2-stage 4.5lb offering. The slack is short and the wall is defined. The break has a touch of roll, unlike their more expensive offerings, but it's still very nice. Think production 1911 vs custom. For the price, there is absolutely no reason to do CMC or anything else in that price range. Well done, Geissele.
