Start the new year off right!!!. Picked up , well not yet. CMMG Mk9 lower from Nate and more mags.. Been wanting a dedicated 9mm lower for months. Figured no time like the present. Mag blocked ar15 lower worked great but had a regular lower tied up.. Picked the colt mag model for reliability based on my reading and ya know, COLT!! Got a great deal. Thanks Nate.

I promised the wife to put up new flooring in the Master Bath a few weeks back and we just bought some flooring about 2 weeks ago. Told her I would start today. I start cleaning out the closet and what do my eyes see? a 30 cal ammo box. I crack it open and I see about 500-600 rounds of 300 Blackout. I forgot that I put them in there about a year and a half ago. Had some desiccants in there so I am pretty sure that I am good to go. It's like finding a $20 spot in the car floor and don't have to share with the wife.

Ordered this today to try on the G20 w/ 9 inch barrel. Have to figure out what optic to use now. May set the irons for 50 and the optic for 100. Or something.
After more reading about the balistics make that 50 yards for the optic. Now to figure out what optic. Need something small, with no batts. Etched or actual scope low power. More reading.

I have shot some Federal 130gr OTM 762x51and it's doing 2780fps out of a 13" barrel. Pretty impressive stuff.

I came across 100 30-06 cases that I had primed then forgot about so I finished loading them up for my 1903A3 Springfield.

Yes sir ,I’m going through my sporting goods and finding thing’s I’d long forgotten about. I had a whole closet up at the river house that I hadn’t looked in for 14 years !

I only have a couple of kills with the 130gr OTMs, but they drop 100# hogs around here like a sack of potatoes.

62gr 556x45 OTMs kill them, but not nearly as quick. They are dead but just take about 15-45 seconds to realize it.

Took a count of primers I had put up 2-3 years back and had a few more than I thought.
