Ordered a stock and Kreiger barrel for a new build in 6mm Dasher...going to dip into Benchrest a little.
Got my '73 New Model Super Blackhawk for sale with one pending to help fund the project.

Trying to order some 1911 mags, good heavens they are expensive lol
If buying used 1911 mags watch out for the Triple K brand 1911 mags. Somehow they got away with printing a rampaging colt on it and some people don't recognize the difference in trademarks. The Triple K mags were good quality, but new were like $15-20 compared to an actual Colt mag at like $30-$50. I caught some guys in Maine honestly not knowing the difference and selling Triple K mags for three times the new cost

To be fair, I would much rather drop it into an ORYX chassis. But that would set me back a bit. :)

Went to Hurlburt Field. Great time at the range. And there was a club fish/shrimp fry. My shooting was mediocre, but I left with a full belly. I’m calling it a great day

Went out to Element and sighted in the 10/22. (would really like to get the Ruger Precision 22)
Still can't get my M3000 working well. Im really not liking this shotgun.

Cleaned everything when I got home. Midway shipped my order today, so Im looking forward to that showing up early next week. :)

Finally time for a good firearms safety training video. My PS2, 3 and 4 were all down for various reasons at the same time. Talk about rotten luck! Bought a $10 cable at GameStop and now all is right. The sounds of lead flying, for cheap ;) One of my favorite safety lessons... B.Y.O.Gun. Homeboy just got sent up the trench with not much more than a smile

Today I researched the Battle of Stalingrad, a famous sniper rifle and a sniper duel... that possibly never happened. That's Vasily Zaytsev's actual rifle, safe behind glass in a museum. Nobody knows for certain who the German "super sniper" was.

Bought a SCCY CP2RD to try out after my sister fell for the used one I bought.

Not sure I like the RD and on a whim I went to the SCCY site and found complete slides are not very expensive. Now have the best of both, so I can revert to open sights if RD does not work out.
