    Great job!
The liner is just plastic. Try to find a picture as a starting template, or use the inside dimensions from standard grip sides, or just eyeball it. You can make your own from the plastic shell off any packaging these days.

Thanks. After looking on the net I saw this. Going to use my wood grips to make a pattern. This should also help clear the takedown pin better (laser). You dont realize how wiggly you are till you have a laser on it. Stoked about my cool junk box find! Have to go pawnshop cruising more.

*** I wonder if an inner tube material would work?

I have two Glocks with the LaserMax internal guide rod laser installed.
    For targeting . . . GREAT !!
For training . . . GREAT !! (Please don't tell the instructors) Especially for older eyes . . find the dot and not the sights. (Green is mo-bedda) --- SAWMAN

Seems like the laser would be best for quick shooting. Also my eyes are crap ( supposed to get em fixed in july) so I'm stuck with red dots, scopes and now laser! The laser is pretty close but needs to be adjusted. Have to look up how.

I noticed possible vent holes on both side brain boxes does factory "liner" make allowances for them?

Not that I could tell. Might use innertube, haven't decided yet. I have noticed the center section is tacky feeling, some dope probably sprayed windex on it at some point.

*** would be cool to find something net like in a plastic. Ha needle point screen?

If you don't have a 308 sized complete lower, you should build one. Don't just focus on them pee- wee chamberings.
Put together a REAL longer range hunting gun.

Thought about building a .308 as I already have ammo, dies, cases, bullets and other rifles that shoot it. Bought a unfired dpms barrel complete, no upper reciever form a member on here, yet to get up with him, scheduling issue in milton.

Cleaned and test fitted two threaded barrels to a G22 to make another 3 caliber Glock host. 40, 9mm, and 357 SIG. 9mm and 357 SIG pictured.

My next large size upper will probably be one chambered in 338Fed. Basically a necked up 308Win.
Loaded to it's upper pressures,it is a nice step up from the 308Win.
Great choice of bullets also, including some long, light,Barnes. --- SAWMAN

Thinking of doing a semi retro build using wacked up grade c or d parts. Just trying to find "peroid" colt handguards is an adventure. Damm things used to be everywhere.
