Just completed building my new Vudoo Gunworks 360 .22lr. Did some load testing with limited time of around 150 match rds. She loves Lapua of course, shooting 1/2 moa with center-x, midas L and Eley Tenex. The center-X and Tenex were respectively .1-.2’s at 50yrds. Couldn’t get to 100yds, that will be next range trip. The ACE barrel looks to be a keeper so far with those numbers and not even completely broken in yet.

Also included some pics of what’s left of my vintage .22lr’s collection. Had to do some yearly oiling and plan on taking them out as well next trip. These are all Tac drivers; except the Kimber, is new unfired and untested. This is around my 7th Kimber and all previous ones shot extremely well when you find the ammo it liked etc. I’ll list a quick info on them below:

    1. Vudoo 360, 22” ACE threaded MTU contour heavy barrel, Trigger Tech diamond trigger 2 stage set at around 8oz, Atlas bipod mounted on RRS QD mount, MDT ACC Elite Chassis, Nightforce ATACR 7-35 scope, Nightforce unimount

    2. Winchester 52C (civilian model), Unertl Programmer 20X, Canjar trigger set to around 6oz

    3. Remington 40X-HB (US Property), Unertl Target 14x magnification scope, Jewell BR trigger 6oz

    4. Remington 40X-HB (US Property, Rare rifle as it was a Navy SATU training rifle previously owned by well known M1Garand/M14 armorers Don McCoy and Art Luppino), Lyman Super Targetspot 30X scope

    5. Kimber 82G (new unfired stock CMP rifle), Lyman Super Targetspot 20x magnification scope

I looked and thought, what’s going on? People posting ads, rifle for sale or trade! Nothing else! Wow
And we aren’t allowed to comment on prices,’I get that! $500 for a used G22! Ok, cool but a quick search you’ll find used G22’s, P320’s and others for, well, not $500! https://aimsurplus.com/categories/Sale!/sale-firearms

I have thought about trying a Springfield XD for several years. Gulf Coast Gun had the XD subcompact on sale for $279 and that was too cheap for me to pass up. I guess now I need get more mags and a holster or 2.

Midway ran Pile Drivers on sale so I picked one up. Ran up to my buddy's and mounted it on a 2X10 scrape and clamped it in the mill vice. Seems to work pretty good. The crimped .223s we ran came out in just 2 pulls and the bullets were undamaged. There is a barbed nipple inside where the catch cup is to hook a hose to for remote recovery. It says it will do up to .30-06 cases as well as pistol up to that case head size I'm sure. Going to hook a tube to it for remote recovery...bullets should stop on the screen and the powder should fall through.

We shall see how long it lasts pulling a bucket of .223 and maybe that much pistol.

Excellent deal. I've carried one if these in .45 for years. I bought it thinking I'd sell it if I didn't like it, and I kept it. The only issue I had was finding an off the shelf, leather holster that fit right. Ended up just making my own. Nice find.

My best friend and rifle builder loads commercially and uses 1050s with Mark 7 drives. They are culls from his QC staff (me;) and others), bullet upside down, primer upside down, no primer or sideways primer. Over time they build up and I thought I would donate this to the cause...since I just might be the poor SOB with the kinetic hammer beating on the mill table to get them apart :D

My friend, for whom I was selling his stuff, handed me the below box and contents as a thank you gift. I had sold stuff for him to the tune of $27,000+. I said I don't know if the .22 kit will fit on my Ruger 1911.

He said you don't understand...it goes with this (several Wilson Combat 45acp mags and a carrying case)

and all goes with this and a 30 cal can of 45acp ammo (a Kimber Super Carry Custom HD)

I'm not real knowledgeable about 1911's, so I wasn't fully aware of how significant until I got home and looked it up. Wow! That pistol had a comma in the price. Fired a few rounds in the yard with SWC's and hardball, and all functioned. Gotta take it to a range and ring it out more fully. Beautiful trigger pull.

My son came over Sunday and helped me repaint most of my reloading shed (I'd painted it when it was new 15 years ago). I do need to finish repainting the porch.
